Gehry Leaks
Gehry is sad.
Talk about a hot topic. Everyone is weighing in on this one, from the Times, to John Maeda is getting in on the all the talk about the MIT Stata Center by our fearless leader SUPER GEHRY. But not everyone thinks Gehry is in the wrong. John Maeda took a break from designing kicks to let Gehry know that everything is "OK"--apparently its not the architect's job to be worried about things like that, and Johnny's been dealing with leaky roofs for awhile now.

MONSTER MASHUP I: WITCHY ZAHA
We all had alot of fun dressing up for Halloween (hopefully!) but our favorite starchitects sure didn't! (too civilian for them) But what if they did? What would they dress up as?
This brings us to the first, and possibly only, MONSTER MASHUP here on AOH (All Our Heroes). Lovely Zaha gets the first makeover...it was almost too easy...
Hahaha. Inspired by the inverse discussion Architect for Halloween? I started over at the beast, Archinect.

CAGE MATCH I: BERNIE VS PARTHENON
Wooow. NYTimes article with the hilarious title "Where Gods Yearn for Long-Lost Treasures" (I'm still looking for the yearning) by NYTimes architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff, talking about the apparently 'flamboyant' Bernard Tschumi's New Acropolis Museum--who, according to the article--no SANE architect would even attempt to do battle with the venerable PARTHENON, the building we all know as architecture's Bible in three dimensions.
Well, it looks like CRAZY Bernie did it anyways, in an event which will be known, from now on as...
